Questions, answered.

The things filers ask most about Magtax, QuickBooks importing, and e-filing.

Yes. Magtax communicates directly with QuickBooks, so you avoid manual exports and blow past QuickBooks’ 800-form and $10 million reporting limits. You can also import from Excel and CSV.
No. Magtax is a one-time purchase with no per-form charges and no filing fees. You file directly with the IRS and SSA over the internet for as many companies and forms as you need.
IRIS is the IRS Information Returns Intake System for e-filing 1099 forms. Magtax supports both IRIS methods: Application to Application (A2A) and the web Portal.
Yes. To transmit electronically you need a Transmitter Control Code (TCC) from the IRS. You apply once through the IRS, then enter it in Magtax. The Getting Started guide walks you through it.
Yes. Recipient copies can be laser-printed on plain paper, or you can run pre-printed forms if you prefer. No special form stock is required.
Standard covers 1099-INT, 1099-S, 1099-B, 1098, 1098-C, 1099-G and more, plus W-2. Professional adds additional forms, Form 8809 extensions, client management, e-Verify, and prior-year processing.
Yes. Magtax saves all of your data so you never retype it. Prior-year reporting and corrections take minutes, and your tax records stay separate from your accounting system.
